Our masks are made from 100% cotton and are washable and reusable.
Masks are machine washable up to 40 degrees on a regular cycle. A delicates bag is recommended in order to protect the mask and all it's component parts. Remember to remove your filter before washing!
We recommend washing before first use.
Please understand that our face masks are not a replacement for medical grade Personal Protective Equipment, and in circumstances where medical grade Personal Protective Equipment is recommended, you should consult a health care professional. The decision to use this mask is solely your own. Please remember that use of face masks is not intended to replace other recommended measures to stop the community spread of COVID-19, such as social distancing, washing your hands and refraining from touching your face. It is important to stay up to date with the current regulations in your region and follow all government advice.

As someone who generally felt uneasy and not comfortable with wearing a face covering I wanted one which I liked and was representative of an accessory I might actually choose. I spent a number of days leading up to the guideline changes looking for something suitable but couldn't find anything which I felt matched what I was looking for.
In addition, I have felt nervous regarding the lack of environmental consciousness throughout the covid-19 pandemic and whilst we can appreciate these are unprecedented times surely we shouldn't revert to behaviour such as disposable items and unnecessary waste.
Considering all the above, I decided to start making my own. Whilst the fabric which I wanted was individually selected and printed and therefore quite an expense I decided to make a few for my friends and I, sharing the cost of the material between us. From there Fun2Cover grew into more friends, and friends of friends and so on!
